This comes on top of the film’s premiere performance on Easter Sunday 2018 when it rated in excess of 700,000 with a 4% share, beating both BBC Two and Channel 4 and easily rating as the top digital programme of the night. The documentary trended on Twitter for the entire two hours of broadcast. The programme was produced with exclusive unrestricted access to Larry’s personal archive, and included the discovery of his unpublished autobiography manuscript.
